Working principle of pilot filter element relief valve

The pressure oil enters the lower chamber of the main valve piston from the inlet, and enters the upper chamber of the piston through the damping hole. When the system pressure is less than the spring force of the pilot valve core, the pilot valve core is not opened, the upper and lower forces of the piston are balanced, and the main valve is closed under the action of the spring. When the inlet pressure of the relief valve increases and exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve core, the pilot valve core opens, the pressure oil in the upper chamber of the main valve is discharged through the pilot valve, and the pressure in the upper chamber is reduced to zero. The main valve moves upward under the pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers, opens the valve core, and the inlet pressure oil flows into the oil discharge port through the main valve core to achieve overflow and reduce the inlet oil pressure. When the inlet oil pressure drops below the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pilot valve core is closed, the upper chamber of the main valve re-establishes pressure, and the main valve core moves downward to close the main valve.
